We organized this project to give young people a space to explore urban legends from our respective countries and collectively analyze the morals they convey. We believe that urban legends were told not merely for entertainment, but also for educational purposes. Each legend embodies values ​​that we sought to decipher, understand, and discuss together, while also drawing inspiration for creative endeavors. A team of 40 people from five different countries—Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, Ireland, and Italy—was involved in creating this project. The participants’ artworks and photographic series were showcased at an exhibition in Kraków and published online (we invite you to visit the profile https://www.instagram.com/legendaryerasmus/). We hope our project has inspired people not only to engage with urban legends but also to express themselves through art. We believe our project stands as a beautiful example of international cooperation that transcends divisions and limitations. The project was co-funded by the European Union.
